NZRSS iPhone Application Released

We're pleased to announce our second RSS reader iPhone Application! It's been a little mission to get this one through Apple, 2 firmware releases AFTER we originally submitted the application, and a trademark infringment (who would know that Safari wasn't Safari on the iPhone). We managed to finally please our lovely Apple approval person, and they hit the go button today.

NZHerald iPhone Application Removed from App Store

Totali has been asked by the NZHerald to remove the iPhone application we developed from the App Store. We developed this iPhone application to 'scratch an itch', it turns out we were wrong in doing this, and the other 5000 odd users who have downloaded the application will no longer be able to use the application to read the NZHerald mobile website.

We sincerely apologise for this, as we really believed this iPhone application filled a much wanted need for iPhone users. We will continue to develop iPhone applications, and plan on re-releasing this application as a generic RSS Reader, allowing you to decide which news feeds you subscribe to.

In just over three weeks after launching our first native iPhone application publically, it's been downloaded 3153 times in New Zealand alone!
