When we were asked to build Tauranga's latest tourism attraction's website we accepted the challenge. With a tight timeline and a website to create from zero we worked closely with the Comvita team to design their new tourism website.
One obvious requirement to us was the need to provide the website in different languages. As time was short we recommended Experience Comvita use Google Translate - a widget that dynamically translates their website content into the native language of the visitor.
We also provided business analysis for the booking engine that Experience Comvita use. We then integrated the selected booking engine provider to integrate the booking process into the website. The result: a simple and effective experience for the customer, and a consistent branded experience.
With more and more customers visting websites on tablets and mobile phones, we recommened to the Comvita team that their new website should be responsive. This involved designing two templates for their website during the design phase and clever integration between the two. The result: a seamless transition and uniform experience regardless of the device your customers are using.
