We really enjoy working in partnership with other web designers and marketing teams when the opportunity arises, and the new TruSport website is a great example of that kind of collaboration.
TruSport's existing web team - Digital Harvest - designed and built the website, and then approached our software developers to create the integrated website e-commerce facilities so customers could buy TruSport gear online.
The TruSport e-commerce website was modelled off the hot-looking JTRacing USA website, as this is the brand TruSport represents in the New Zealand market.
TruSport website customers need to be able to very quickly and easily find the product they are looking for in what is an extensive TruSport catalogue.
Our e-commerce system allows products to be attractively displayed first by main product categories, then sub-categories - meaning the gear you want is only ever a couple of clicks away from the Home Page.
Each product page on the TruSport e-commerce website includes nice big images of each product, so customers can really 'get a good look' at the gear. Many products have more than one image, to show different views of the product.
The product page also contains all the information the consumer needs to make a confident purchasing decision. They can then very quickly select their correct size and the quantity they need, then add the product to their Shopping Cart.
Our software development team created a new custom module for Totali Pages (our website Content Management System).
This feature makes it easy for TruSport to add new sponsored riders and to showcase their collection of clothing right alongside their bio and photos. TruSport customers love to wear their favourite rider's gear, and this feature links them directly to each product in the online store with just one click.
